Lake in the Hills Youth Athletic Association will be hosting our annual free clinic on February 29th for boys and girls ages 9-12.  Sessions will be 2 hours long.

  • We will have approximately 20 kids per session and each session will be run by LITH Thunder, Lightning and Softball coaches.
  • The sessions will focus on proper fundamental mechanics for throwing, receiving, fielding, and hitting.
  • Our drills will match be similar to drills we teach our players during the season.

Spring/Summer Registration is now open!

Spring is around the corner! Need a reason to think warm weather? Summer In-House Baseball and Softball registration is now open!

How would you like to help the league raise money for critical field equipment without selling a single wreath, magazine subscription or discount card? In fact, you can be raising money without even leaving your house!

This month, LITHYAA is partnering up with Savers in Crystal Lake on our February Fundraiser.  All you have to do is start your spring cleaning early - go through closets, cabinets and closets and pack up those items you and your kids can't or won't use any longer and set them aside for our donation drive.  Every pound of soft goods (clothes, shoes, linens, towels, etc) or hard goods (books, DVD's, decorations, stuffed animals, toys, etc) will earn money for the league's expenses and help us keep player costs down.

If each family donates 2 large black garbage bags or 2 boxes of gently used items, we will definitely hit our goal of $2000!  Stay tuned for drop off information, and maybe some ways to win prizes for 'most pounds donated' ! In the meantime, here are some other ways you can help out with this fundraiser:

Ask neighbors, friends, and families for their giveaway items.  You'll save them a trip to donation centers and add to your total.  Don't have a big bag of stuff? We'll take what you have, because it all adds up!

If you have a truck and can spare a few hours to help get donations from collection points to storage locations, send an email to

If you have can help load/unload trucks, send an email to

If you have too much stuff and need help moving it, send an email to

This is a great fundraiser for our community, our league, and our families.

Thanks in advance for all your stuff!
