We are pleased to announce the 5th Annual Brian Krueger Memorial!!!! Brian Krueger was one of Lake in the Hills YAA players whose life was cut short due to brain cancer in late 2005. He played and loved the game with passion in a way all of us can appreciate which is why we started the Brian Krueger Memorial. It is our intention to make this tournament a special honor to Brian, and the best way to do this is to make this the premier in-house all star tournament for this Region!!! In 2006 we had 19 local teams participate in the inaugural tournament. In 2007 we had teams from all over NE Illinois participate in this event!! In 2008 we had 48 teams participating! In 2009 we had 49 teams participating, making this our most successful tournament to date and helping us to donate over $10,000 in just the past two seasons in Brian's name to the Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center. In 2010 we hope to expand the tournament to 60 teams! We look forward to making the 2010 tournament our best yet! Come celebrate Brian's life, baseball and summer with us!
